There are several ways you can help Tillman Troops! Volunteer on your time by participating in a Donation Drive, Care Package Party, Write Letters and more. We will work with you so that we can Support Our Troops together! Let us know how much time you have and how you would like to help!

Items Needed NOW!

Local Businesses — Tillman Troops is seeking to team up with local businesses to help sponsor gift cards and/or certificates for local military families for a night out. We want to help relieve some of the stress on these military families.

We are in most need of:

· Money Donations for postage.

· Care Package Items

· Gift Cards/ Gift Certificates/Phone Cards and Gas Cards

· Give-A-Ways items to be included in gift bags for our hospitalized veterans and families.

Volunteer Positions

Board Members — Are you interested in taking a bigger more active role in supporting our troops? Are you interested in becoming a part of a Board? We currently have openings and desperate need for committed individuals who have about 10 hours a month to help take Tillman Troops to the next level in supporting our local families and service members over seas,

Internet, Myspace, Facebook and Twitter Specialist— We are looking for a volunteer who is interested in spreading the word about Tillman Troops.org on the internet.

Project Managers — Individuals who are looking to oversee donation drives from beginning of collection, packing and shipping. Estimated 2 to 3 hours a week.

Packing Team — Looking for individuals who would like to spend a few hours each month to help prepare care packages.

Marketing/Newsletter — Looking for an individual with the passion to write press releases, media alerts and newsletters to help spread the word about what Tillman Troops has been up to these days with volunteers and programs.

Volunteer Coordinator— Looking for someone who is interested in coordinating all the volunteers by maintaining a database, e-mailing and scheduling the packing parties once a month. Estimated 2 to 3 hours a week.

Adopt a Soldier Coordinator - Looking for someone who is interested in coordinating the Adopt a Soldier Coordinator by maintaining a database and e-mailing. Estimated 2 to 3 hours a week.
