Since 2007, TillmanTroops.org has provided support and assistance to thousands of service members overseas. They rely heavily on local companies and individuals to sponsor a donation drive of goods and monetary donations that are put to work inspire morale, provide comfort and remind our troops that the American people care and value what they do in service of their country.

 

TillmanTroops.org, is a local tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the Houston area. TillmanTroops.org is comprised of individuals and organizations volunteering and donating goods and services for charitable purposes to provide support, aid, comfort and assistance to members of our armed forces, operational employees and agents of other U.S. government departments and their families. TillmanTroops.org support has included: phone cards for veterans stationed overseas; gift certificates for local military families; books for Texas area military hospital libraries and forward operating bases in Afghanistan; swimming pool equipment and supplies, barber shop equipment and supplies, woodworking tools and equipment, and DVD’s/CD’s for camps located in remote areas of Afghanistan; humanitarian aid, clothing, food and comfort items for distribution to Afghan villagers; organized a Toby Keith Night where injured soldiers were able to meet Toby Keith and attend his concert; and organized a "2008 Big Texas Welcome Home" for military veterans (and families) who recently served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
